The author is probably identical with the poet who otherwise calls himself Delius Volscus Privernas or Antonius Volscus, lived from about 1440 to 1507 and was crowned "poeta laureatus" by Emperor Frederick III in Linz in 1492. Cfr. Flood 2019, 486–488.
